Exmouth - off Imperial Rec Ground

On receeding tide 0830, BLACK BRANT, 6 Pale-bellied Brents and the Cackling Goose (courtesy of Matt Knott).    The Pale-bellieds were feeding on the right of the flock (seems their favoured place), with the other two more or less in the middle and at the front.

The flock of Dark-bellied Brent Geese is now well over 1000;  this morning they were split into two roughly even groups with the second staying out on the central sandbar.

First impression - not too many juveniles as yet
