Haldon Forest

An afternoon visit to the Haldon Forrest area, two Crossbill flew over, one red one green, great way to start the vist.

Siskins, Goldcrest, Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Jay, Great ~ Blue and Coal Tits, Coal Tits being the dominant tit species.

Constant movement of Pied Wagtails, good numbers of Chaffinch, a young Carrion Crow still with a parent the young bird had a good deal of white in its wings. 

Buzzard seen to fly into a tree and within moments drop down to the ground and take a field vole.
