Ridgway's Cackling Goose at Exmouth Mudbank

On arrival the Ridgway's Cackling Goose was seen from a distance in the middle of the Exe estuary at 10:40 hrs near the water cafe with c350 mostly dark bellied Brent Geese before the sandbar re-appeared. On the outgoing high-tide it was seen several times flying around and landing before it eventually landed closer and feeding on the eelgrass behind the bus station for a brief period before moving off futher up the river again.
