Another productive day here.

A juv Dotterel found first thing next to East Soar car park. After watching it a while it suddenly flew high calling and there in the air - two! They disappeared north but to my surprise a single bird reappeared in the field some 15 mins later without being seen flying in. So two or three birds?. It was still there mid pm.

Nearby a striking leucistic Swallow amongst c100 others. Also: 1or 2 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Whinchats, 5 Wheatears, 2 Willow Warblers, 13 each of Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps, 2 Whitethroats, 10 Siskins over, 2 Spotted Flycatchers, 2 Firecrests, 15 Ringed Plovers, Dunlin, and 150+ Goldfinches.
