Thurlestone Bay

Bay watched for 2 hrs from 09.25 before the heavy rain set in , sea rough with a F6/7 SW wind.

Notable for passage of Gannet -370 , Kittiwake -90. Also flying east - a SOOTY SHEARWATER at 09.25, 6 COMMON SCOTER, 3 Auk's .  2 Great Northern Diver - 1 on sea at 09.45 and 1 east far out at 10.00

Waders in the Bay 2 Turnstone and a Curlew .

Only a db Brent Goose on the marsh this morning- looks as though the White- fronted Geese have moved

on. This afternoon at a local farm an ad m Black Redstart
