watched from 18:30 till 21:40

The highligh was a Female  Long Tailed Duck of the goatwalk from 21:25 till 21:40, myself and Martin Rooney had just done the high tide roost at Bowling green marsh and was just checking for terns  of the goatwalk Martin picked up a duck close in it dived and when it surfaced wow female long tailed duck in middle of June on the estuary after checking to make sure and a few pics taken in poor light it stayed in close and was still there when we left.

the 1st summer little gull continues to show well among 1350+ black headed gulls, 13 Mediterranean gulls( 3 adult, 10 1st summers) , 11+ bar tailed godwits, 5+ whimbrel, 23+ redshanks, 30+ black tailed godwits, 5+ sandwich terns, 30+ curlew, 2 oystercatchers, 1 buzzard, 40+ shelduck.
