Wrafton

A few House Martins hawking insects over a windswept pond this afternoon. Male Swan chasing a female Mallard. 5 Cootlets but no sign of any other juvenile water-birds. Of interest in the reserve, there were about  20 House Martins and 10 Swallows hawking insects over the reserve pond - never seen them in there before! Must be the lovely weather.... Or perhaps because it was sheltered from the wind.
