Wembury and Ernesettle Creek

At Wembury this morning 5 brent geese were on the sea near the sewage pipe before disturbed by dog walkers and flying off East. Also 2 juvenile wheatears and a second winter Mediterranean gull seen and a high count of 46 Canada Geese feeding in the stubble field, the highest count I have had at Wembury. (On leaving home this morning 12 Canada geese flew over my house in the centre of Plymouth)

After dipping the lesser yellowlegs at Ernesettle Creek on Monday I found it this afternoon on the incoming tide (about 13:30) feeding with redshanks, viewed from the slipway upriver from the wrecked boat - showed very well for around 5 minutes before flying off downriver
