American Wigeon - River Taw

The American Wigeon was still there today around midday. It was with other wigeon in the difficult viewing area between the 'worst sited hide in the world' and the railway bridge. Not easily distinguished through bins I needed my scope to confidently pick it out but with good light I could see the beautiful speckled wolf-grey head and white forehead. Also showing a pair of Goosander.
