Crows point and Braunton Burrows

A very bustery walk this afternoon was rewarded with a Woodcock on the verge of the American Road along with 4 x Bulfinch in the hedgerow, and 30+ Lapwing in one of the fields next to the carpark.

The Marsh at Crows Point produced a Marsh Harrier which put up 30+ Teal as it quartered across the ponds. Also spotted on the way back to Braunton:- 3 x Kingfisher, 2 x Stonechat,                     5 x Redshank, 2 x Grey Heron, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Buzzard, and 1 Sparrowhawk.
