Lower Tamar Lake - 10th January.

Improving weather conditions, but increasing wind and much cooler.   The work on the marsh in front of the hide and trimming some of the growth on either side has now been completed giving much better visibility and the prospect of a greater variety of birds closer to the hide.

Only 10 Goosander, 31 Mallard, 26 Tufted Duck, 26 Snipe, 4 Coot, 3 Jays, 1 Kingfisher, mixed flock of Black headed and Herring Gulls totaling 60+, 2 Cormorants.  Usual tits etc. on the feeders.
