Exmister marsh

Watched along station road from 14:40 till 16:20

great to see the golden plover numbers continue to grow with 1000+ on the scrape by the middle car park with 2000+ lapwing constantley being attacked by a male peregrine also large numbers of wigeon in various groups over the marsh with a few pintail and tufted duck, 2 chiffchaff and 25+ long tailed tits, 4 water rail and a male merlin was on the northern end of the marsh towards the motorway bridge , 1 sparrowhawk.
