Broadsands, Paignton

Very productive visit to Broadsands this morning despite the very dull, damp weather.   In addition to Mike Langman's earlier post, there were 3 FIRECRESTS feeding very actively along the tree line dividing the car park and road.   Two of these birds were working together whilst the third was on its own.

The 2 YELLOW-BROWED WARBLERS were in the trees between the two car parks at the marsh end, accompanied by a pair of Bullfinches.

A RED-THROATED DIVER was offshore from the headland, + 12 Great-creasted Grebes.   2 of the Black-necked Grebes were feeding very close to the beach despite people and dogs.
