Low tide and a lot of birds this lunchtime. Armed only with binoculars, some distant views so no mind blowing species to report, but some good numbers including 9 Grey Plover together just west of Isley Marsh, the most I've seen together there. 3 Common Snipe, 8 Fieldfare, several Stonechat, a Skylark and a Mistle Thrush also highlights. Tens of Shelduck, Curlew and Wigeon, hundreds of Golden Plover, Lapwing and Oystercatcher. All in quality light in the sunshine.
