Exe Estuary cruise highlights

Three Egyptian Geese were the highlight (lowlight?) of this afternoon's Stuart Line cruise. They were with Brents off Lympstone. Waders seemed to be generally in good numbers, though still only about 170 Avocets. c15 Golden Plovers were with flocks of Lapwings on the mud. Plenty of Shags (30+) in the lower part of the estuary. Three Little and 2 Great Crested Grebes, but couldn't locate the Slavonian today. Later, a Great Northern Diver and few Common Scoters visible off the Warren from Exmouth.
