Berry Head and Broadsands
A short watch from the quarry mid morning produced a trickle of Common Gulls heading south, a Great Northern Diver going North distantly and another on the sea. Two Chiffchaffs in the quarry , in the back lane two more plus a Blackcap. Several small parties of Skylark going south overhead plus two Mistle Thrush over high.
From Broadsands -Elbury late am, two Great Northern, one by oyster farm towards Brixham and one over towards Torquay, and just 3 Great Crested Grebes. In the marsh 6+ Chiffchaffs , other observers reported a Firecrest and single Yellow-browed Warbler earlier.
