A very good morning's walk to the Avon Dam.  Still some Ring Ouzels about - at least 4, maybe 6, just below the dam.  Also a Merlin, Kestrel and Buzzard, one Dipper in flight down the (very full) river, and Goosanders both in flight and on the lake (about 12 in all).
