South Brent ~ Ring Ouzel's

A good morning watching the Ring Ouzel's near the Avon dam, nine showing until the general public arrived with kids, dogs, bikes and noise, for the first time in years I can claim a Dipper on that stretch of the Rv Avon, in fact two seen, one unrung and the other with orange and green and a white and BTO ring on the other leg.
Grey Wagtails, two Kestrels, very close up views of a Green Woodpecker that spent the morning in the same area, male Yellow Hammer, Goldcrest, Raven, singles of both Redwing and Song Thrush. Blue, Great & Coal Tit's, numerous Robins, really good numbers of Blackbirds. Several flocks of small passage birds and the continuation of the Wood pigeon movement I suspect close to 700 birds seen this morning all still headed west.
