Braunton Marshes

Cycled down to the Marshes around 17.00 & at first no sign of the Cattle Egret.

Looked through a small flock of Gulls with the scope feeding in the field with the Black Welsh cattle - 56 BH Gulls & 1 Med Gull. The Cattle Egret then flew in & landed on a post by the galvanised gate adjacent to the private road.

I digiscoped the bird from a gate entrance to the Great Field on the other side of the main Marsh road not the private road. The bird was over 100 metres away & it remained on the post preening until a flock of Crows swooped in & spooked it.
