Slapton Ley

Arrived at dawn in anticipation of visible migration which didn't measure up to much: 8 Mistle Thrush, small groups of Meadow Pipits, Skylarks and Swallows south. At least 250 alba wagtails departed from the higher ley roost. Otherwise:  plenty of Chiff-Chaff (40+) and Blackcaps (30+) including a roving flock of 18 birds, 2 Sedge Warblers, 2 Goldcrests, 1 Firecrest by the bridge nice to see.
