R.Taw off Pottington Ind. Est. 07:20 - 08:30

Little Egret 10; Greenshank 8; Redshank 12; Common Sandpiper 1 and Black-tailed Godwit 23.

Off Penhill Marsh. Another 20 Little Egret and 2 Grey Heron.

Bradiford Reserve - Grey Wagtail 2 and Stonechat 1.

4 wildfowlers (2 each side of the river) and then waterskiers in middle of the river put paid to any further sightings. The 2 on Pottington side hide behind the broken down seawall by the Bradiford Water outfall, between the wall and mean high water mark and string out their decoys out into the river. This seems very close to the Tarka Trail but as they`re at MHW I presume this is allowed. I doubt if the Police would be interested anyway. What does concern me is if the wildfowl are on Bradiford Reserve, will they start shooting into the reserve as as happened before?
