10.00-11.00 The high tide gull roost, as alluded to elsewhere on here, really has to be seen to be believed. More than 100 Mediterranean Gull of a highly educational range of ages, compared to just 20 or so Black-headed Gull, 5 Herring Gull and a smart adult Lesser Black-backed Gull. Hiding in the roost was also an adult Sandwich Tern. Common Gulls on the cricket field. Aside from the Oystercatchers and 1 Curlew, waders were elusive, only eventually found handful of Ringed Plover and Dunlin as tide got to its highest.
