Upottery Airfield, Smeatharpe

A dearth of migrants over the last few days and today was no exception. Even wheatears are proving hard to find at what is the normal peak time for them with just 1 or 2 birds around but totally absent today. A single Whinchat and a Goldfinch flock of 150 (mostly juveniles) were the only things of note this morning.

Friday a Kingfisher on the River Culm close to Hemyock.
