Bowling Green Marsh

Viewed over the morning high-tide.

2 Spotted Redshank + male Ruff in with the usual large number of waders. Peregrine made several unsuccessful passes and sat in tree briefly before flying off.

From the viewing platform a Kingfisher was on the wall of rivermeet house + Buzzard in tree overlooking marsh + Great Crested Grebe in the estuary. The Peregrine returned from Exminster direction before making another unsuccessful atempt down the Clyst estuary.

The new bird hide was open for business this morning providing great views of the marsh with some interior work to be carried out during the coming week and looks to be a great improvement on the old many thanks to Clare and RSPB team.
