Exminster Marsh area - Today and yesterday

Good raptor day yesterday: First we saw a kestrel hunting over the marsh, then a sparrowhawk went over being mobbed by hirundines, next a hunting hobby came through and gave us good views as it stopped on a fence post for a bit before resuming hunting and catching a dragonfly. The sparrowhawk cam back to mob it, and finally I finished the day by seeing a buzzard :)

Today we saw a swift over the Turf, and then a whinchat back at Exminster Marsh - viewed from the gate opposite the middle car park!

(Stint and crakes had not been seen at Bowling Green all morning apparently, anyone seen them since?)
