Bowling Green Marsh

Viewed after the morning high-tide until late afternoon.

Temminck's Stint and Spotted Crake showed on the far left side of the main pool after the rain shower + 2 Spotted Redshank + 7 Knot + male Ruff + c20 Greenshank + 2 Snipe + c12 Wimbrel + 2 Bar Tailed Godwits  and usual large numbers of Redshank + Curlew + Peregrine made 2 unsuccessful passes to put all waders up and sat in tree on hedgerow looking menacing.

Sandwich Tern on buoy and common seal on mud-bar from the viewing platform and Vole close to roadside on way back to hide. Lots of Dragonflies about and seen everywhere around the marsh.

Yesterday 2 Ruff (male&female) showing on far side with usual waders + Water Rail on Goosemoor from the roof viewing area in the evening pouring rain.

The new bird hide is now looking really good and told is on target and should be completed this coming weekend.
