We were alerted to a hobby going over Exminster Marsh reserve near the railway line by a commotion amongst the swallows and house martins.

Lots of great butterflies at Powderham Marsh, including abundant common blues and small coppers, and a clouded yellow.

This evening we saw a small starling murmuration (~200 birds) over the marsh from the Turf.
