The 1st summer Ross's gull was very elusive spending most of it's time out of sight in far left hand corner of the main scrape, as 1st summer little gull showed well among 1500+ black headed gulls including 29+ juv's, 7+ Mediterranean gulls.

wader numbers have increased, the 2 moulting spotted redshanks were in with 150+ redshanks , 20+ greenshanks, 386+ curlew, 13+ whimbrel, 4 dunlin, 3 bar tailed godwits, 7+ lapwing, with 80+ black tailed godwits. 

18+ little egrets but no sign of the female garganey but was reported this morning, 1 tufted duck and 3 wigeon , 6+ teal. 

Topsham quay whilst waiting for the bus 5 common sandpipers on the wrecked boats opposite the quay.
