Bowling green marsh & exminster marsh

Bowling green marsh 09:35 till 11:45 from the hide 

Best bird was a little ringed plover which dropped in with 2 sanderling but was very elusive, 3 common sandpiper, 3 sandwich terns briefly flew over, 14+ whimbrel, 139+ black tailed godwits, 2 tufted duck , 1 gadwall, 9+ little egrets, 26+ shelduck, 13+ common gull, 8 wigeon, 4+ reed warblers, 2 sedge warblers, 1 reed bunting, 2 little grebes.

exminster marsh 12:45 till 14:00

fairley quiet but 1 hobby was hunting over the lagoon and close to the railway line with small numbers of swifts, swallows, sand martins and house martins, 7+ sedge warblers along the canal path, 3 whitethroats.
