Lundy – update for Friday 25th

In addition to the Marsh Harrier mentioned in a previous post, Richard Campey also had a male Hen Harrier drifting NW, late afternoon, during an excellent day for migrants, which included:

Northern Wheatear 60, Common Redstart 2 (m & f), Yellow Wagtail 2, Grasshopper Warbler 1, Common Whitethroat 11, Sedge Warbler 5, Wood Warbler 1. Also lots of Willow Warblers & Chiffchaffs about (combined total of c. 200) and 500+ Swallows. The ringers caught a Sedge Warbler that had been ringed in France.
