Upottery Airfield, Smeatharpe

A recently ploughed and tilled meadow is proving attractive for Wheatears - a total of 14 (8m, 6f) this afternoon with at least 2 birds arriving from the south whilst i watched. A male Whitethroat on territory, a male Yellowhammer and a double figure total Pied Wagtails were, with just one exception, spendid males.
