Exminster Marshes

An Osprey over the marshes at 9.40 am then drifted slowly towards Powderham. On the marshes a slight increase in sedge and reed warbler numbers but cold SE breeze supressing song. Shelduck numbers now close to 60 with much display. Also 3 Gadwall and 2 Shoveller. A Song Thrush on the canal bank is not a common sight here.
