Topsham recreation ground: Sightings were a pair of pintail, and a pair of gadwall, both new arrivals, a female red-breasted merganser and a fox in the late afternoon. Also good numbers of teals, wigeon, shoveler, shelduck, canada geese, few tufted ducks, mallards and curlews, 8 knot, 135+ black tailed godwits and about 10 little grebe.

Exmouth: At 11:00 the 2 female eider, a red-necked grebe, 4 mergansers and about 10 great crested grebe were very close to shore until some people with dogs appeared. The first winter glaucous gull, remains in the quay, which has more parasits around the eye than last time.

Orcombe point: 1 great northern diver, 11 brent geese heading east, a raven and a buzzard.

Sandy bay: There was a flock of 15+ common scoter in the middle of the bay and the cliffs are already full of nesting kittiwakes.
