The Yellow-browed Warbler was in gardens near the Recreation Ground this afternoon. (The Black Redstart was also seen nearby and three Bearded Tits in the reedbed near the M5, from Exeter Canal.)

At Goosemoor this morning, flooded by the high tide, a Jack Snipe was scoped as it 'floated' on sparse vegetation, swimming to find somewhere more solid and then flying off - amazing! Also a Snipe there, but on more solid ground, and 2 Greenshank.
