A quick walk along Plymouth Hoe this afternoon while dodging the showers and 2 great northern divers were showing well close in to shore - 1 off Duttons cafe and 1 near Tinside Pool.

At Sutton Harbour 3 turnstones were feeding along the beach by The China House with a summer plumaged little grebe diving nearby.

Around the fish quay there were 2 adult winter plumaged kittiwakes amongst the gulls, 1 unfortunately with oiling on its upper and lower right wing and vent area. No sign of the glaucous gull but it was low tide.
