Plymouth

First thing this morning there were two Chiffchaffs at the University site (see earlier posts). I didn't have much time but it appeared to be the putative tristis and what I might describe as an abientinus-type. Definitely not a collybitta  and more greys and greens than tristis, with better wing bars (although perhaps not so different from some of the birds posted nationally in various pics which push the boundaries for me). Although I thought I heard the tristis call a couple of times, unfortunately, no other calls were heard.

I'm not sure whether one bird is new in or whether there's some overlap in previous sightings. Views welcome.
