Brixham and Broadsands

With Jonathan down from Sussex for the weekend, spent the day around Brixham and Broadsands.

Brixham harbour: 1 Slav grebe, 10 GNDivers, 2 Black throated divers and 1 Red throated flew across harbour mouth. Black guillemot near the end of the breakwater at 11.00 and the Iceland gull flew into the harbour a few minutes later. 8 Purple Sandpipers.

Berry Head

Same as Bill MacDonald with at least 3 more GNDivers, the Iceland ull again and plenty of Kittiwakes and auks.

When the rain eased, 20+ Cirl Buntings on the seed, a single Chiffchaff. From the cliffs, 2 Black Necked Grebes, another 10 GN Divers, 3 Black throated divers, 1 red throated diver and at 3.30 p.m. we picked up the White Billed Diver  near the yellow buoy.

Stopped off at Decoy on the way home, male Scaup still present.
