Sandwich Tern

Not the best day to go out birding! First went to Shoalstone and saw the Black Guillemot there. I then went to Berry Head and walked down the track by the quarry, as I was looking into the bay, to my surprise the unusual and out of season sight of a winter Sandwich Tern (11.15am) flew along the shore and towards Brixham harbour and Broadsands, where I lost sight of it. The White-billed Diver was still off the Head on the bay side and was slowly going back towards the harbour. About 6 Great Northern Diver were around and alot of Guillemots on the bay side of the Head.
