Exmouth

Sandy Bay - a female-type black redstart this afternoon just below the beach access ramp from the caravan park. I wasn't allowed to drive in so I had to park in the 'World of Country Life' carpark (free at the moment) and walk down through the caravan park. Alternatively you could of course walk round from Exmouth - absolutely stunning at low tide!

A seawatch from the lifeboat station this morning produced 1 velvet scoter, 1 great northern diver, 50+ gannet and 35+ kittiwake among other stuff with the 2 female eider still close offshore there.

Yesterday the adult bonaparte's gull was viewable distantly on Bull Hill from Exmouth Docks - late pm.
