Thurlestone Bay

Last night the roosts between 18.30- 19.00 were - 400 Starling, 135 Alba Wagtail, 100 Linnet and only 100 Swallow. A Hobby flew through.

At 07.45 this morning an adult Spotted Redshank was briefly on the back marsh- the first on the patch for 2 years. Also 2 Snipe, 17 Teal, 1 Little Grebe. First Siskin of the autumn flew over.

3 Sedge Warbler were ringed.

Around the Bay were10 Meadow Pipit, 1 Wheatear, 1 Grey Wagtail, 100+ Swallow 40 House Martin ,. Amongst the gulls were 20 Lesser B B Gull
