Nothing of particular note, other than 8 Swallow, a singing Chiffchaff, and a small passage of Wood Pigeon heading SW, seen by 12 members of the East Devon Branch fieldtrip this morning.  In the afternoon the remaining members viewed the sea when a raft of 100+ Common Scoter containing at least 3 Velvet Scoter was seen a mile out in a heavy swell.
