Bowling green marsh & goatwalk

The female long tailed duck showed well from the hide all morning, and the avocets had increased to 175+, 2 stonechats, 2 sparrowhawks, 4+ buzzards, 750+ wood pigeon going north , 200+ black tailed godwits, 6+ bar tailed godwits, 110+ dunlin a few redshank and lapwing, good numbers of wigeon and teal, 2+ Cetti's warblers, 1 kingfisher, 90+ redwing over northwest, on way to viewing platform 1 water rail and 1 kingfisher showing well from viewing platform. 

From the goatwalk a female/ 1st winter scaup was over towards turf and at least 3 red breasted mergansers, a female long tailed duck flew past heading up river towards topsham quay
