Colaton Raleigh Common

The Great Grey Shrike still early afternoon at the north end of the firing range viewed from the main path and showing well. From the main car park, take the left hand path by the entrance to the car park down into valley for 200 yards, then take the steep right hand grassy track back upto the main track on top of the hill to then view across the heath with the white poles of the firing range beyond.
