East Soar

Daughter Emily and I birded MIddle Soar to Starehole and back through the farm from 08.00 to 12.30 by which time the forecast rain ended play. Even Starehole was rather blown out by the fresh SW wind which only strengthened later. No vis mig worth mentioning and predictably little in the way of migrants after days of wind and showers: Merlin (fem. hunting Warren towards Starehole), Chiffchaff (<10 in total), prob. Firecrest heard calling in Starehole, LInnet (small parties of 10+)
