As well as the Red-breasted Flycatcher and Yellow-browed Warbler as per Steve Y's post below, Steve Cox and I had a Lapland Bunting flying around mid-Soar car park early afternoon. This morning small flocks of Blackcaps were making their way inland along hedge rows, with others lingering in Starehole, and we slowly picked up on Chiffchaff numbers as we reached the more wooded areas.

Totals: Blackcap 50 (count), Chiffchaff 48, Whinchat 4, Wheatear 15, Meadow Pipit 500+, Sedge Warbler 1, Great Spotted Woodpecker 1, Snipe 1, Swallow c25.

A great day's birding!

Steve Y - your shots of the Flycatcher are much better than mine!
