With clear skies and very good visibility I thought it would be a slow morning at the Headland - how wrong! On arrival lots of Chiffchaffs, small groups of Blackcaps fly over Yellow Wagtail and that was just leaving the car park. The morning got better: 1 Radde's Warbler, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Firecrest, with a (selected) supporting cast of: 62 Chiffchaff, 17 Blackcap, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Whitethroat, 2 Coal Tits (both britannicus), 5 Wheatear, 1 Reed Bunting, 16 Siskin, 1 Rook (rare at site), 6 Skylark, 42 Swallows, 82 Meadow Pipits, and 1 Arctic Skua.
