Around the Axe

Two Yellow-browed Warblers at Lower Bruckland Ponds (Musbury) at 14:30 today with 5+ Chiffchaff and a mixed tit flock. Only (knowingly) saw one, but whilst watching this one at close range another started calling from behind me! Felt like I'd been temporarily transported to the east coast!

Also today, Spotted Redshank and four Ruff still in the valley.

Yellow-browed Warbler - not the easiest species to photograph!
