Exmouth
Orcombe Point - heaving with birds today with some nice variety. It was nice to see my first two redwing of the autumn heading east. Also1 turnstone, 2 juv ringed plover, 1 dunlin, fw mediterranean gull, fw common gull, 4 golden plover, c20+ alba wagtail, 1 flava wagtail sp (flew out of turnip field with repeated hoarse 'zreep' then gave normal yellow wag flight call), 1 white wagtail, c30+ goldfinch, c10+ chaffinch, 3 wheatear, 1 juv whinchat, 1 stonechat, c15+ chiffchaff, c200+ meadow pipit, 1 tree pipit, 1+ juv hobby hunting the area, c20+ skylark, 3 grey wagtail, c30+ starling, c60+ linnet, 1 goldcrest, 1 spotted flycatcher, 1+ siskin and 1+ whitethroat. Hirundine passage picked up mid morning with c60+ house martin and loads of swallows all east but no proper count was made.
