Berry Head

Seawatching from 0830-1300, when heavy rain began. Fairly slow morning with little wind or waves  until midday. Counts were complicated as shearwaters and Arctic Skuas were feeding up and down the coast causing duplication. Final totals 47 Manx Shearwater, 27 Balearic Shearwater,10 Great Skua, 25 plus Arctic Skua, 8 Common Tern, 4 Sandwich Tern, 2 Black Tern, 1 Red-throated Diver (summer plumage, flew north into Torbay).
