Tamar Lakes

The water level has dropped nicely at Upper Tamar Lake and there is a good muddy margin especially at the top end. Not many waders but a decent variety.

9 Dunlin and singles of Common Sandpiper, Greenshank, Redshank,Ruff, Lapwing and Little Ringed Plover. Also around the lake Sparrowhawk, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, 2 Willow Tits and Reed Buntings. 1 Clouded Yellow

On the Lower Lake the water level is still high and there were 8 Great created Grebe, March Tit, Blackcap and Whitethroat. Also 3 Clouded Yellow 1 Silver-washed Fritilliary, Golden-ringed Dragonfly and Southeern Hawker.
